High Impact Documents - BETA
Sharing a draft consulting (PowerPoint) template for your feedback
Making an impact in person and via documents is an important skill for future managers and consultants. We often use PowerPoint .pptx for reports, presentations, documentation, business cases etc. I’ve learnt a few things that work from Big 4 Strategy, Tier 1 tech consulting, mentoring from MBB partners and my own creative take on things.
I’d like to share how I create “High Impact Documents”. First I need a reasonable template and examples. Attached is my take on a very basic template with cover pages, a basic page and section breaks. I’d like your feedback before I launch into adding in example content pages of layouts and specific charts and images. We all know the pain of going back and editing lot of pages.
It’s a bit of an adventure but the intent is to help future managers and early stage consultants. Right now I’d love feedback from more experienced hands to get the template into a good shape.
Please leave any comments below. There is a .PPTX version of the template and a PDF for easy viewing:

Hey Mark, welcome to Substack and thanks for sharing this. It reminds me a lot of Firm Learning - we definitely need more tips like this.
